Hey
I was wondering what you would do...
I am thinking of having a dual-charge of my services. As I am going to do a flat-rate for all services to start off with, this will be pretty simple.
I am just querying to whether it's more sensible to get a flat-rate price (i.e. in euros) quoted against my hourly rate (FYI: it's €1.20 to £1 Sterling); OR to do the price conversion against the price conversion rate for the day that was the quote was carried out.
What would you do?? In my opinion it would be easier for me to do a simple flat rate in euros; but there has been a lot of talk recently that a lot of UK-based retailers have been accused of price-fixing (which is something that I'm NOT doing!!)... but then again, the price conversion could be good value for money some days, yet on others it'd be a complete rip-off.
I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience in working with dual-currency. Of course, I'd ask for all payment in pound sterling but having the euro conversion would mean that the market could be opened up for clients in other countries, i.e. ireland.
Cheers
