Default How Do You Share P&P Manual?
Those of you we a team I'm wondering how you share your policy & procedure manuals with the team. Do you send it to them, use google documents or save it online so they can reference it whenever necessary? Do you allow them to make suggestions to the processes?

I create P&P manuals for clients, so they know what's going on and can pass the information should I not be available.

I've used two ways to do it. Using the Whiteboard feature in Basecamp but the issue with that is since it's my Basecamp account if they client leaves we have to transfer it to the client.

So generally I use a service called PBWiki.com, which is free for a personal account. It's simply a personal version of Wikipedia. this way it's a living document and can be access by any one invited and updated easily as things change.

I another option would be to maybe set up a google site page, that is secured with a password.

The website I am using has the capability of incorporating a project management component that allows the users to upload/download documentation associated with a task item. I make sure that there is a Last Updated date on the documents before uploading and each task entry is date stamped so they know what the most current item is.
