I too use QuickBooks which automatically number the invoices, I started at 100 as well.

I give each client a number - 101, 102, etc - then I number the invoice in order. For example client 101's first invoice would be 1011, my second client is 102 and her invoices are 1021, 1022, etc.

Hello

I number my invoices starting from the number one (1) followed by the year. Example: 001-08. By the end of the year I know how many invoices has been generated.

The same - e.g. 001-2008. I prepare invoices in Excel.

I also use QuickBooks which automatically keeps track of the invoice numbers.

Wonderful thing to do; rescue horses!

Last October I rescued a 7-year-old Arabian mare, unbroke, not even halter broke, never de-wormed, and never had her feet trimmed, there were a total of 25 that were rescued from that breeder. She scored a 2 on the Henneke Body Condition Chart and now scores a 5! As of May 8th, she is mine! The owner is serving a 20 day jail term, is never allowed to own or harbor a horse again, fined a measly $1000, and his 3 dogs were removed from his 'care' also!

Quick Books seems to be the majority resource for creating invoices..

I dont have Quick Books is the program/system pretty easy to learn.

I know when I started my business account with my bank it mentioned having Quick Books as an option..???

I am still unclear/unsure about this programut: any suggestions?
