Just out of curiosity,

For those of you who bill in 15-minutes increments, did you ever have any clients who protested against your policy?

Thanks for your feedback.

Cindy (who has only 1 client yet)

My first client insisted I bill to the minute. He was a very demanding client and this was only one way he chose to try and control my business.

I have never had an issue with my clients when utilizing my Time Tracking Program. I am posting a link to it in case anyone is interested:

The TimeTracker demo looks great. To minimize costs at this point, however, I set up an Excel spreadsheet to track my time and expenses by client.

This is a very interesting subject. Somewhere I have read about a Time Tracking program that you can download for free. (If I find it again, I'll come back to post it )

I've also learned that Ctrl Shift & ; will paste the current time in Excel. I've been playing around with designing a time tracking sheet and that shortcut has proven to be invaluable! I hope this is helpful to some of you!

I used to bill in 15 min increments because I had a client that would make requests that only took 6 minutes. I was also lazy in working it out to the minute and what decimal it was of an hour. Now that I track my time in QuickBooks, I do it to the minute and it does it all for me.
