Default Those of you who use SkypeIn with Multiple Lines
If you have multiple inbound lines from Skype, does it identify which line the call is coming from?

That's a really good question...I left it open in case someone else could actually answer you but in lieu of that I went in search of the answer myself. Skype doesn't address this in their FAQ though so I honestly don't know!
If you're really curious and care to report your findings you can always send them an inquiry...

Hi Karla
The cost of one incoming line is $60 per year, not sure how much it is for a 3 month period (I think $18?). So - per line...you can have up to ten incoming numbers on the same account.

Up until about a month ago, I used Skype for two of my clients + me. Now I use Ring Central.

Each client had their own SkypeIn #, but they were on separate accounts because unless I'm totally missing something, you can't tell which line is ringing unless they are on separate accounts. Even so, I had to change the ring tone for one account so I could tell which one was ringing. In order to have more than one Skype account open at the same time, I had to set up a different Windows XP user and set it up differently. Skype actually has instructions for doing it ... it's a pain in the fanny to set up, but it works. I just renewed the one SkypeIn # today, because we have it transfer to the new Ring Central number so we don't have to change the number on all of my client's documents, CRM campaigns and notify all of his clients and prospects. A SkypeIn # is $24 per year ... $12 for 3 months.

I had no clue you could actually get one # to use with multiple lines!

That's one of the main reasons I switched to Ring Central ... plus the fact that the quality of Skype got so bad that my voice would break up so bad that people couldn't understand what I was saying. It seemed to work Skype to Skype, but not Skype to landline.
