Default Setting up customer service call center
Hi all!

I am currently working with a client overseas. He runs an online business selling a unique product. Currently all customer service calls and email come to his personal lines. I am working with him to set up a dedicated 800# for customer service and a dedicated email for his business.

Can anyone recommend a phone service that is cheap for international calls as well as domestic? Also, what's the best way for the calls to be forwarded to me anywhere and how do I decipher business calls from other calls I get (like if calls are forwarded to my cell?)

Thanks!!

Try looking into skype. Also, they might not outfit for overseas, but I use a majic jack with one client. That way I have a dedicated phone number that appears like it is in new jersey, although I am in Nevada. Worth a shot!

Skype is a very great feature, I have been researching that as well as the magic jack.

Hi, Do you mind explaining how the dedicated line works. Did you choose a New Jersey zip code?

Thank you,

As you are taking calls in your home office - question what type of phone do you / are you planning on using?

I have been making outbound calls for clients and was using a cordless phone with a headset jack which has recently died. I purchased a desk phone with two cordless handsets but have found it does not have a headset jack.

Bottom line - looking for desk phone with a headset jack and two cordless handsets. Anyone have a good source and recommended brand/model?
