Default Options for conference calls
Hey -

My client is wanting to set up a weekly conference call with a few people...are there any companies out there that offer this for free or pretty cheap?

Thanks,

Tammy

Try here:

http://www.freeteleconference.com/

I haven't used the service but came across it while searching something else! Weird how things happen that way! :p

Make it a great day!

Try Gotomeeting or Skype. They are not free but are well worth the investment. Skype is a very economical, easy and widely used tool and Gotomeeting is just about the easiest application to setup so that you can do professional conference calling. Best of all, they have a free trial.

I use freeconferencecall.com but my client in Florida likes freeconference.com. I just booked a call for him. On freeconferencecall.com you sometimes get static and it is hard to hear for those using Voip but my client says you don't have that issue with freeconference.com.

Quick question about conference calls. When you set up a "reservationless" account, do you set the account up in the clients name, or do you set the call up in your name and "loan" the call number out when the client needs to use it? I would think that if you "loan" it out to multiple clients to use at different times for different meetings, there could be room for error/conflict.

For clients that don't have their own access numbers/accounts I do use the freeconference.com since you do need to reserve the time and date. This alleviates all issues.

However other than this particular client, my others have accounts with freeconferencecall.com
