I must admit was torn between the Blackberry Storm and the iPhone. I did some research and decided to go with the Blackberry storm as a Christmas gift to myself. The features are great and with the internet, email and phone right at your finger tips (which both phone offer) one can get pretty spoiled

Hello all,

I currently have a blackberry pearl with Bell Mobility. I use it for EVERYTHING. It is the best phone ever. I can check my email, send SMS and blackberry voice messages. This phone even allows me to send text messages to land lines. I am always in touch with my clients and have the ability to respond to clients while out shopping or taking my children to school.
I honestly don't know what I would do without it. I have had this phone for over a year and it hasn't failed me yet. Yes, the curve has a larger screen but honestly I can read the pearl screen and I can type pretty fast on the keypad.
In all honestly, I believe it is a personal preference. Large screen, small screen, bigger key pad, smaller keypad.

At the end of the day, I would trade my pearl for the world!

I also don't own either because I find windows mobile phones easier to use and easier to sync files between your phone and pc. I use HTC Touch Pro and I love it.

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this forum but I've been reading the posts over the last few days and I think this forum is fantastic!

Anyway, I currently have a BlackBerry Curve (upgraded from a BlackBerry Pearl) and also an iPod Touch, so I thought I would chime in.

When I had the BlackBerry Pearl I used my phone quite a bit, but felt limited with the typing so I upgraded to the full keyboard, and it became an ultimate productivity tool for me. I have been VERY tempted by the iPhone but wasn't sure if I would like it so I decided to get the iPod Touch so I could use many of the same features (via WiFi) and see how things go.

The iPod/Phone is amazing, there is no doubt about that. Many applications are better, neater (look cooler) and they definitely have the "wow" factor, but I still prefer my BlackBerry Curve for "Getting things done." The main reason is that typing is SO hampered on the iPod/Phone that I tend to just give up, and reach for my BlackBerry to make a note of something to do later when I'm in front of the computer. I like browsing on the iPod to check weather, news, Twitter, etc - but reach for my BlackBerry for tasks, calendars, contacts, reminders, etc.

I think after a while of using the iPod, I'll be better at typing... but I feel a "true" productivity tool doesn't require practice or training. It's just "ready."

So those are just my thoughts, and of course, if you try the iPhone you may fall under the lure of Apple - so please understand I'm not knocking it! It is a great product, I just don't think it's a "must have" for everyone.

I just recently got an iPhone and love it. The only reason I upgraded was the fact that I ran my Razor through the washing machine. Really. And, if I had realized my husband would have gone out and got me the iPhone when I did that, that sucker would have been cleaned earlier.

I love it. It works well, Love the features. Since it is relatively new, I am not using it to its fullest.

If my husband saw this thread he would "accidentally" wash his BlackBerry! That is too funny!

I just upgraded to the Blackberry Curve through Sprint and it has a lot of bells and wistles on it, although I'm still within my 30 days and still trying to decide if I'm going to keep it. You see Sprint has not updated there software on their version on the curve so a lot of the functionality that I would like to have is not available (i.e. listening to my Ring Central VMs, WiFi, and Documents to go); all of which are available on the T-Mobile version of the curve but at a higher cost. Ohhh, decisions! decisions!

Thanks for the great opinions ladies, I have an LG Dare but am looking at a Blackberry since I plan to take my business on the road this summer. Unfortunately where I go to get spotty reception from AT&T (very rural) so the IPhone is out. I am still not sure thought since I will have my wireless card for my laptop for emails, internet and bsuiness and try to keep my cell for personal and emergencies.

I have the Blackberry Curve and love love love it. I couldn't type on the iPhone, but that's just me. I need an actual mini keyboard. No "fat fingering" the screen. LOL!!
