Default iPhone
Hi VA's!

Hope that you are having a great weekend. I'm ready to switch from Verizon with Blackberry to the iPhone.

My Verizon bills are ridiculous so I am looking at AT&T and T-Mobile.

T-Mobile doesn't sell the iPhone directly so I'd need to buy a Jailbroken one. Just wondering what you think of the phone and the possible providers. Thanks in advance.

Kim

I had a love-hate relationship with mine at first - the signal is no where near as good as my old Nokia, but apparently that's an iPhone thing and I've come to terms with it.

Otherwise I love it - great for emailing and loads of apps so I can access twitter, Facebook etc. wherever I am.

I have an Iphone and LOVE it! I can't speak for the connection on your side, but here in SA I haven't had a moments trouble. The apps are awesome and it switches between Wi-Fi and 3G seamlessly. I highly recommend the Iphone 4!

I'm ready to make the switch very soon, but am trying to wait for the iPhone 5 to come out. I know it is due out soon, but it is so hard to wait!

I'm waiting for the iPhone 5 too. I have the 3GS now and love it. Email is great and I use Dropbox alot too. I can also update my Wordpress blog (although I'm really, really bad about that and need to do that alot more often.) Tons of great apps including Square to accept credit cards in my business and Mapquest.

I'd be lost without my iPhone! I take it everywhere I go.

I, too, would be lost without my iPhone. That said, AT&T service leaves a lot to be desired. Also, these expensive little wonders are not built to last. I've had mine for 2 years and I'm in need of an upgrade. Just waiting on the iPhone 5 - and then switching to Verizon.

I'm really hoping the '5' will be all that and more. =)

I have been reading reviews, both from web sites and from users, about the preference for iPhone vs. Android. I am finding that there is strong support out there for droid over iPhone. So far, the droid has over 43% of the market share and it is growing. I realize that folks have their preferences. But, my suggestion is to read everything that you can about capabilities of both iPhone and Android and don't be swayed by the hoopla of well-placed, massive publicity campaigns.

For example, Cnet has this to say about the HTC Sensation 4G Android:

Its excellent design and user experience, coupled with its solid performance, make the HTC Sensation 4G one of the best Android phones yet and a top pick for T-Mobile customers.

I like being an informed consumer. JM2C
