I have used Ring Central and was not happy with their customer service or their billing services. Watch their billing carefully. I had caught them several times "double" billing, especially if you are transferring calls to another phone (i.e. cell). They are notorious for billing to the first number that is suppose to receive the calls and duplicating the billing if the phone is transferred to a cell phone from the first phone. Hence, a 10 minute call would show up as 20 minutes billable. I have a backup system where I time calls and record them down and then double check my phone bills with the accuracy of the "backup" system (this is especially good for when you are billing clients for your phone time). If I hadn't done this, I would never have known of the double billing Ring Central does. When I confronted them on this issue, it took 3 months and a complaint to the FCC for them to refund money back to me. I have never had this issue with OneBox who I use for my 800 number.

Wow I am using (Ring Centrals) trial basis now that ends on Sunday.. I will keep my fingers crossed that I dont have any major issues.. So far I love the system itself, and the customer service team has been really helpful.. So I will let you know how it goes after Sunday!

I haven't had any problems with Ring Central, but I'm also not taking full advantage of this service. I almost always am the one to contact a prospect or client. I mostly signed up for this service so that on the rare occasion someone calls me, they get a professional sounding recording instead of my children's sweet little voices (I'm biased.)

I'm probably paying too much for what I need and should look into some of the alternatives mentioned here.

Well, I have used them for almost a year and I have not had any issues with them. I love RC! Fits my needs just perfect.

I've also used Ring Central, for almost 2 years now. I purchase 1 year in advance. Not had any problems.

I have been using their trial and love it. I hope nothing like this happens to me when I start their paid service. But I am glad you got it resolved.
