Smile General business email & phone
I just set up a business email at BusinessMailBox.com to manage my business mail for now until my business officially launches in two months. Its similar to MS Outlook and I created the same username I was going to use for my official business email. I didnt want my clients sending their correspondence to my personal email for professionalism purposes. I also have a question concerning phone answering services: Can I have a cell phone for phone answering services or should I get a multi line phone for multiple clients?

Hi!

You can use a cell phone as your business line or you can look into pbx services (which could forward to your cell, landline, etc) like, RingCentral, My1Voice, Onebox for a small monthly fee. What is nice about these services is they offer call forwarding, 1-800 numbers at no extra charge, caller directory, voicemail, email notification of voicemails.

Here is one site that compares:

Good Luck!

Thank you JamieVA! I didn't know about virtual phone numbers, but it's good that I know about it now because that actually saves me money on buying an pricey multi line phone.

You are welcome! You can also use Skype in addition to your virtual phone number. What I like about the virtual number is that I don't have to worry about changing it if I were to move, etc.

I don't know if anyone would be interested but you may want to check out majicjack. You can hook it up to your computer. This could add you your second phone line and less than $50.00. also if anyone is using gmail, they offer a free phone number that can be forwarded to a landline or your cell phone.

Just a thought, you may want to check out Google for business applications. In addition to having email services, Google also offers documents, instant chat, phone and so much more for FREE!. I Google and they are roll out new apps all the time.
