Re: FREE Fax Services to all VAs who need a Fax Number!
Hi! Yes, I did the logo on my own. It was fun and I like how it turned out.
Thanks for the compliment!

Re: FREE Fax Services to all VAs who need a Fax Number!
Hi Kathya,
I used this service for an 800 number but stopped because the number kept getting cancelled. (I foolishly used it on my business cards thinking it would be permanent...)
What happened to me is that if the number is not used, I believe within 30 days, it gets cancelled. So the first time, I didn't know that and it was cancelled, so then I reregisted and set my calendar to make sure it was used within the 30 days but then it was cancelled again. I don't know why. So I never registered again.
I only say that because I'm not sure what kind of activity needs to be on the account in order for it to stay active. Do check the rules on that before registering. You may need to send x number of faxes or receive x number of phone messages and I just didn't have the volume to keep it active. I believe that was the problem with my usage.

Re: FREE Fax Services to all VAs who need a Fax Number!
I have an efax number, I think that it works for me right now, but haven't tried it with clients yet. They give you a number, but you would have to pay for 800 number. Anyone have any issues or feedback with efax?

Re: FREE Fax Services to all VAs who need a Fax Number!
I'm somewhat confused about this "FREE" fax line. Is it specifically for the Seattle area? Are there long distance charges for the sender if they are not in the 206 area code?
The last statement of the answer by K7 seems to contradict the first.
Can someone clarify?
Thanks
Question:
Why did I get a Seattle (206 area code) K7 number when I signed up?
Answer:
"All K7 numbers are assigned randomly from an available number list in area code 206. Calls made to your K7 number are long distance for people outside the Seattle area. These calls will incur normal long distance charges from the long distance carrier used by the sender. There are no surcharges or special charges for calls made to your K7 number."

Re: FREE Fax Services to all VAs who need a Fax Number!
Thanks for the info. I know my husband had signed up for one with someone years ago- just so we didn't have to have private stuff faxed to work, but I think there is a limit on it...... I will be looking into this more for sure.
