I always see people talk about it in their sigs, etc. but I've never used it. Do you use it a lot?

I use Skype all the time and love it! If you buy one of their subscriptions, you get a Skype-in number and unlimited calls in the country of your choice. An additional bonus is that it comes with voicemail and call forwarding - so if you're out of the office you can forward calls to your mobile (for a small charge per call).

I don't use Skype, but I know several people who use it. The issue that I have noticed about Skype is that depending on the weather where one lives, Skype cuts in and out a lot. At first I was thinking it was maybe my line, but when I call them back on their non-Skype number or cell phone, there's no problem and we can complete the call.

I just started using Skype and love it. I make calls from my computer since I don't get very good reception at my house and we don't have a land line. I find it very useful and much clearer than my cell much of the time. Kena is right the threads have some great discussions on the use of Skype. Good luck.

I signed up for Skype a year ago and absolutely love it. I have an incoming number that I can use as have the unlimited calling subscription for $9.95 a month. I definitely think it is worth the value.

I use it all the time to make outbound calls for my business, clients, etc. I love the features that are included with the program itself. There are many of my clients that exchange large files via Skype vs email and we even have conference calls amongst team members as well.

I also use the applications on Skype such as remote desktop sharing. Good luck and I see it as a good investment for any business to have.
