Default Call Management
Hi, can any one help. I want to be able to offer my clients the option of taking their calls from my office. I have no idea where to go with this as they sites I have looked at are very expensive. I need a way of diverting their calls to my home, preferably via my computer so I can see who is diverting to me to be able to answer the call in the firms name. Does any one know a good, easy to use system.

Hi

I have a 1-800 that I can forward calls too. I can tell by the number who is calling in so that way I know how to answer the call. I am with Kall8 if you want to check it out to see if it will work for you.

I offer this service to two clients.

Client 1 just provided a cell phone and forwards his own cell phone to it when he's not available to take his own calls. I can take his calls from anywhere so he is on a 'pay per call' schedule.

Client 2 is different. Her calls are highly confidential and must be answered from my home. I added another number to my landline with it's own distinct ring and she forwards her calls to that number. It means I'm tied to my house during certain hours but I charge accordingly. The extra line costs me about $4 per month on my package.

If I decide to expand this service to others, I'll be looking for a better plan, too. And the ones I've look at are expensive. I'm looking forward to the advise your question will attract.

Gladys

RingCentral.com is another option to look into as you can have calls forwarded to your 800# and I believe you can set distinct rings for different numbers as well.
