Hello! Did all of you originally start with your home phone line? Or did you get a new number right away? I had a free phone number through AIM which I was going to use, but they took away that service and POOF there goes the phone number. We already have Vonage for our home, so another line would be around $15.00 I do believe.

There's also a lot of options on the internet, like Yahoo offers a phone number which can be used just like a regular phone. Anyone use these type of options?

I use my home phone line and my cell phone for business. I don't have a separate phone line. Mostly I list my cell phone as my business number. I did have Ring Central for awhile when I thought I needed/wanted an 800# but couldn't justify the expense. I know some people use services like Ring Central for forwarding, or for a specific ring from specific numbers if they are handling other people's calls, or for the voicemail. I know there are other options that people have discussed such as Grand Central, GotVmail, onebox and others.
