Default Another Skype Question....
I am going to download Skype soon. I was wondering what Skype plan do you have. I see they have business solutions, is that the plan I should get? Or do I download skype and then sign up for the business solutions. I've been up since 5:30 this morning with my daughter and my brain is mush.

Hi, Shante'!

I will be looking forward to your responses, too. I have Skype downloaded (I believe it is just the regular version) and have not played with it much. I have had it for a few months now and have only used it for IM with a client or two. I know there are some past threads in regards to Skype here, but maybe someone will pop in and share some additional experience with the program here.

Hi Shante!

I currently use a regular Skype subscription service which is the $9.95 unlimited calling to a variety of countries around the world. I think it really depends on your usage for Skype.

I have one client that uses Skype for Business plan - because she has two sub-contractors that work for her that use Skype to make phone calls. So instead of those two sub-contractors having their "own" Skype account, the client has the Business Plan and allows the two-subcontractors to make calls on her account, but using their Skype ID.

For me personally, I use Skype for client meetings and to chat with others. I think the plans really depend on your needs and use for Skype. Overall, I think it's a great program to use and it be a part of a virtual assistant business. Good luck!
