I am currently with AT&T Callvantage, but they are discontinuing service soon. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do for phone service.

1. I don't want to change my phone number (Skype won't let me keep it)
2. I call Guam quite a bit, so the package needs to include it free or at a really low rate per minute.
3. Call forwarding to my cell is needed.

The 8x8 (formerly Packet8) Freedom Unlimited package would meet my needs and is really close to what my current package is. They will let me keep my number. It will probably cost me about $

Seems I could save some money by using Skype as long as I could forward my existing number to a SkypeIn. Anyone do this? The places I found that let you do this seem to only include 200 minutes, then you have to pay a per minute charge. Adding that all up doesn't seem to make it very cost effective in the long run.

Anyone have experience with 8x8 (Packet8) or a low-cost solution for forwarding a number to SkypeIn?

I'm open to other options too!
