I have been using Trustfax for well over 3 years now. I have found them to be very reliable and easy to use. There is no software to download, you receive faxes as an emailed pdf.

I have been looking into OneSuite as an option as I don't send/receive faxes that often and the rates are quite a bit lower. You pay a $1 monthly subscription and then per page (typically per minute, at a rate of .025 cents) sent. You can receive unlimited inbound faxes. Once I get signed up for this service I will report back, but thought I would chime in on the TrustFax option.
