Does anyone know if there is a service (like email money transfer in Canada) that you can transfer funds by email? It goes from one bank to the other. It is such a great simple way of banking and it works with all banks in Canada.

Actually, it only works with the major banks in Canada. It would be great if it worked for all banks, but no such luck.

This is a great thread. I currently use only PayPal and have had them reverse payments up to a week after the payment was cleared. One has been for a one time customer that decided not to make an alternative payment and so I lost both time on money on that transaction.

Has anyone tried Moneybookers? It's a UK based online money transfer service.

Here's what I got fr Wiki:
Moneybookers allows customers to send, receive and hold funds in 29 currencies worldwide and offers local payments in 30+ countries. Moneybookers also offers escrow payments (for online trading) as well as online SMS and fax sending services. Moneybookers charges its fees directly to the sender of the payment, and not - unlike the alternative PayPal - the recipient. The seller receives the full amount owed to him.

The good thing about Moneybookers is that payments are irreversible. However, there seems to be a lot of complaints about their customer service.

I am still searching for a paypal alternative. I just came across this company that you can use your computer as a payment terminal, the website is www.mybusinesspayments.com. I haven't completely checked it out, but the credit card processing part is handled by Chase bank. If anyone have heard about this company, please let me know. Thank you.

I currently use PayPal and don't have a problem with the fees. I will definitely look into ProPay though.
