While reviewing my PayPal account I noticed that there is a PayPal Debit MasterCard and wondered if that might be a good option to pay for my business expenses. Has anyone used the PayPal debit card and if so, what do you think of it? Linda, I've used my PayPal debit card since 2007. It has a MasterCard logo so it's accepted all over. I have never had any problems with it and I like not having to think 3-4 days ahead and transfer money from PP to my bank in order to use it offline. Christina, that's why I'm considering using it. I imagine the majority of my business will be done through PayPal and so it makes sense to let the spendable funds sit there rather than move them elsewhere to be used. As a Canadian, we can't get the PayPal debit card, but since I've been a paypal member for so long I was able to get one before they stopped it. I use my card for everything business related, I use the card to pay for all business expenses and then when I want to pay myself and simply make a cash withdrawal. All cash withdrawals are owner's draws and it makes it easier for me to track. I signed up for a PayPal debit card a few weeks ago and reading through the Terms and conditions, it seems as great choice for any business to have. You do get charged $1 for cash withdrawals but if you are strictly using it for Business Transactions I am assuming you won't be taking out much cash. Also, you can sign up for a Business PayPal account which is extremely nice. There are fees associated with that, but then they will invoice your clients.
