I have been reading some of the discussions on her about online payments and wondered if anyone had used Freshbooks? I noticed another (UK) Va used it when I was doing some research so I wondered if anyone had any reviews about it? For example, can I still use it for an invoice that needed to be sent snail mail and paid by cheque or does everything have to be electronic?

I just signed up with Freshbooks a couple of weeks ago and so far have only entered expenses into it. I have been using it for a few months now and love its ease of use for both me and my clients. It tracks payment and you can run reports on your client payment history. Like Bridie, I have it linked to my PayPal account so payment by credit card is a snap. I don't use the tracking feature as I do this manually but the timer functionality is pretty good.
