I'm wondering why anyone would want to use a third party to request payment through PayPal when you can send a request for payment direction through PayPal itself, straight to your client.
This is what I found at the Pay It Link site:
Pay It Link is a web-based service that makes requesting money via PayPal™ easy. Now you don’t have to log into your account to use the request money feature.
Simply enter your PayPal™ email address, a description, the price and click submit. We’ll provide you with a short URL that you can share via:- Email
- Instant Message (AIM, MSN, ICQ, and more)
- Twitter
- or any method that allows a link
Pay It Link makes it extremely easy for your clients to pay you money. They simply click a link & log into their PayPal™ account. Couldn’t be easier.
Just not sure I see a need for this - it's not that complicated to send a request or create a 'Buy Now' link in PayPal.... I don't see myself using this.
Has anyone else tried this? Thoughts?
