Has anyone heard of AlertPay?

I was reading it on another forum and wanted to know if anyone heard of it or used it before? It seems like a NEW company. Any thoughts?

I haven't heard of that one...but there are so many Paypal competitors now. Truthfully, I shy away from anything other than Paypal, which I'm just used to at this point and trust based on length of experience with them.

Just wondering if you decided to go with this other program or stuck with Paypal? I'd love to hear what your experience is with this if you've given it a shot?

As I posted on the other thread about 'alternatives to PayPal', I have used AlertPay and encountered no problems. It's actually a Canadian-based company, which makes a nice change! You can read more about it here, if that helps!

Do they take as long to transfer the money over as PayPal does? Are their fees similar?

I also use Revolution Money Exchange. They are run through a bank (can't remember which one) that is very reputable and there are no fee's at all (like PayPal).

Oh I'm so excited! I'd asked about this before but didn't have any bites! How long have you been using Revolution Money Exchange? What industry are you in? Have your clients taken to it well? Is it the only payment you accept? Please share the scoop!

I do recall it took some time for my bank account to be 'verified', but my understanding is that was for an initial set-up and I would assume it wouldn't take as long in subsequent transactions.

The fees are:

For the Personal Starter Account, sending and receiving is free, but limited to $400/month with a yearly cumulative limit of $2000.

Personal Pro Account has many more options for businesses with ability to accept credit card payments, buy now buttons, subscriptions and recurring payments. Receiving fees of 2.5% + $0.25 per transaction.
