Default Opt In- Tips & Tricks for building email list
For those of your VAs that have a large email list I'd like to hear your tips and tricks. I'm slowly building a list but would like to know if there is something you would have done different or suggest to those of us new at it?

I would have to say that I wish I would have had done my newsletter sooner rather than having started it later.

I do make sure to put an opt-out in my news letters. This allows your readers to not "have" to search for it, which can be very aggravating.

I know that if you have an email newsletter it will be very informative and I will definitely refer those who want to sub-contract to your email newsletter. If you wouldn't mind could you give us a link to it so we will always have it to refer others to?

Andrea~

I have used the following tips to build my list:

*Put a link to the newsletter in my email signature/I also let people know about this on my business card.
*I have links to sign up for my newsletter on Facebook and send out tweets on Twitter informing people about my newsletter.
*Offering a discount or free whitepaper for signing up (I like to switch up the offers).

These are some of the tactics that I have found to be extremely useful and think you will as well. Hope this helps!
