Default Mail Chimp - LOVE IT!
Has anyone used MailChimp? I recently starting using it for a client's newsletter and the service is great! It's also fairly cheap. We sent out 210 newsletters for around 7 bucks!

Just thought I'd share. If you have experience with it, I'd love to know!!

Hi Brianna, I haven't ever heard of this one but am curious! I'll have a look.
We use Vertical Response for creating and sending customized client newsletters. It's also very inexpensive (About $20 for 1,000 emails and no monthly fee). I'd used emailBrain and Constant Contact and neither provided the same flexibility for accepting (and properly understanding stylesheets).

Just wondering, what's your own process with MailChimp?

Thanks for the resource, I'll be sure to add it to our directory.

My client sort of inherited a mailing list that was hosted with Constant Contact and she doesn't care for them. MailChimp has an import tool that's very easy to use. You then create a Campaign and add your contacts to it, then create your newsletter. They have some really professional templates, but we used one that was custom-made HTML. I played around with the templates, though, and they're easy to use.

Once your campaign is created, you purchase credits (I think the lowest is $15.00) but that lasted through 2 and a half campaigns! There's also no monthly fee (which I love!!).

I'm glad you're going to add it! I've been so happy with them that I think I'm going to start using them for my own newsletter!

Thanks for the info I did add it to the directory - most of the resources we have in there (aside from the Virtual Assistant business sites) are member recommended.
The thing I like most about Vertical Response is the ability to write a completely custom HTML template...sounds like MailChimp allows for that too, which is great!
I'll check it out for comparison purposes, I noticed they have a free trial which is great.

Yes, I like that, too. Let me know how it turns out!
