iContact...worth the hype??
Hi divas. So I read about iContact through another VAs blog, and was wondering if the services it offers is worth all the hype. I had the free trial....that lasts about 14 days, but never took advantage of it in anyway because I simply did not have the time.

Has anyone used it....and whats your experience like? Pros/Cons??

I've never used iContact but have worked with numerous other similar programs. In the end I settled on (and love) Vertical Response - they have all the stats and great features plus you can totally customize the newsletter template with HTML (so you can make it match your website, etc.) There are free templates too, of course. Another thing I really like about it is that it doesn't charge you a monthly fee on top oc email credits, like so many others do - you just pay for the emails you send,

Email newsletter programs are fabulous as a marketing tool, for sure. It's just a matter of choosing one that has all the features you want.

Good question Amaya...I'm currently engaged in a trial run with both Constant Contact and iContact, while I may not be able to share a lot of information, here are just a few of my thoughts on both:

- Constant Contact has more user friendly templates to send out newsletters than iContact. It took me about 2 hours longer to understand and then set-up my first message within iContact.
- iContact has an autoresponder, Constant Contact does not (this was my main reason for trying out iContact). I currently have a sign-up form on pages of my site using Constant Contact, but I wanted guests to get an instant email when they sign-up, so I started playing around with iContact.
- iContact is more economically priced! LOL

I'm looking forward to hearing the feedback as well.

Thanks for the info guys. Your responses are really gonna help me make a decision on the tools I want to use to market my business.

Thank you. I'll look in to both of your recommendations.
