Default how do you manage different clients in MailChimp?
Can't find this answer through MailChimp (their chat is offline since it's after hours) so I hope someone with experience can zip me a quick answer:

I use MailChimp to set up newsletter campaigns for different clients. Up until now I've been able to use the free plan, but soon I may have to upgrade one or more clients to the paid plan either because of the size of their subscriber list, to get better design templates, or to remove the MailChimp logo/badge from the footer.

So the paid plans will require a credit card on the accounts for the charges. The way I have it set up is that each client has their own MailChimp account because I want to keep everything separate. Can the same credit card be linked to different MailChimp accounts? I'd have to use my own credit card for these monthly fees. I don't want to use the client's card because I want to handle the account myself rather than having MailChimp bill my client. (I'll just add the upgrade fee to what I already charge the client for my service.) I also don't want to use the account keys feature of MailChimp to let my clients have account access. Too complicated, and again I want to handle the account.

If anyone knows if the same credit card can be linked to different MailChimp accounts, please let me know. Thanks!

Found my answer this morning through MailChimp's live chat ... it's okay to use the same credit card for different accounts. Thought I'd post the answer in case the question ever came up for anyone else.

Hi everyone,

I know it's been almost a year since the last posting ... but I thought I'd jump in anyway.

All of my clients use MailChimp. Each of my clients has their own account. It does take a little longer to go into each account. But each business own their own account and their own email list. If something were to happen to me, each business could carry on with their emails themselves.

HTH
