i am planning to send my company profile and list of services to all of my contacts .
but i am confused about the two following points .
- should i send it to my friends, even though they may not be PC?
- i know few VIP people who are running large companies, we are in the same NGO, wouldn't be useful to send it to them as well?
You could sent a note to friends who are not PCs announcing your business and a little of what you do. I would not send them all the information, however I would put it out there so if they run across a PC they would know enough to be able to refer you.
As for the VIPs, I would certainly send it to them. It may spark something in one of them or again they may be able to refer you to their colleagues.
I agree with Lee that you should share your info with your contacts regardless of whether or not they might be PCs - I'd also be sure to give everyone you email the option to sign up to your mailing list. That way, you know which friends, family and colleagues are interested in being emailed about your business again in the future (and you can respectfully omit those who are not from future mailings)
