I just downloaded it myself thinking it would give me some templates for my clients purposes and didn't see any. You have to purchase the $49 upgrade to get it. But thanks for the link. I may still use it for my use.

It does have templates. If it's okay, I'll send you a sample of one of the campaigns I've done using it.

Thanks Trena. Did you try it? I'm using mailchimp and I like it well enough. But if there is something better...well than I'll like to try it.

Never found a free email marketing software that worked good. I generally do music event promotion via email, I send the newsletter about the events to a mailing list of over 5 thousand people , anyone knows any cost effective solution that would help me do this?

I did sign up for the FreeForLife Account with Benchmark. I haven't tried out the service but it does say you can send 10,000 emails/month and there doesn't seem to be a limit on # of contacts. I'll let everybody know how everything went after I've created an email campaign.

I'll probably try out MailChimp also as I've heard good things about it.

If I sign up for the free one do you think later you could import those names into another system? Do you guys feel there are things missing in the free one?
