Default Firefox or IE? Any thoughts?
The men in my house are insisting that Firefox outperforms IE hands down. Having just been on Mail Chimp, I was noticing quite a lag with IE. Anyone else?

I changed from IE to Firefox and it is a lot better. It doesn't crash every five minutes and it is compatible with many more sites. You can try it but if you don't like it, it's really easy to switch back. I have IE installed on my computer still as certain links automatically open with it but other than that I don't use it at all.

I like Firefox over IE, but have both with Firefox set as the default. As Sabrina stated, there are still links that open in IE automatically.

I switched a long time ago from IE to Firefox. I never did like IE but keep it on my computer for client website viewing. I also switch between FF and Chrome when working on Google Apps accounts for clients too. I like Chrome just as much as FF however I am more adapted to FF so that is my go to browser.

Every time you open IE, you get a TON of tracking cookies and adware installed on your computer. I use Firefox with the Ghostery and Better Privacy add-ons and have my cache set to clear all history and cookies when I close FF. My speed has been immensely increased by these processes.

Once you stop using IE, download and run LavaSoft's Adaware and Spybot (both free programs) then, just for grins, re-open IE, go to one or two sites, then close it and re-sun AA and SB. Now try the same process with Firefox. This is how my IT guy convinced me to switch!

I'm a Chrome fan. Faster than FF even. Yes, it can take a bit of adjustment, but in my opinion it's the best browser.

One of the things I really like about Chrome is the Web Store and if you have all of your content and applications online using Chrome really makes it easy. Now even when I go to Firefox I get frustrated with the lag and how slow it is in comparison to Chrome.

Agreed. I use Chrome as my go-to and Firefox as my second choice when necessary. I never us IE!

For me, it's Chrome (VAF's Codehead actually introduced me to the browser) followed by Firefox. I do have IE installed on my computer, however. When it comes to designing websites, I need to be sure IE plays nice with the code (and, it usually doesn't!).

I'm a Chrome and Firefox person, but I also have IE on my computer in case I need it (apparently Windows updates use IE regardless of what your default browser is).
