I'd really appreciate any feedback on this subject. I'm putting together some information about newsletters for a blog entry and for a networking organization. Do you send out a newsletter? Yes. 2. How often do you send it out? At first I was sending it every other month, but my sales/marketing coach suggested I sent it out more often. So perhaps monthly going forward. 3. Where do you get your content? I only do a short article on a timely subject for business owners -- for instance, this month I want to do "Alternatives to Paypal". I also try and feature one of my clients in each newsletter at least for now. I put in Microsoft Tips and Tricks as well 4. How many subscribers do you have? They don't subscribe, but I've acquired their email addresses from inquiries or personal meeting/networking etc. and they haven't opted out :-) And I use Constant contact so I can see that every time I sent it, about 30-50 of those who receive it open and read it 5. Thanks for all the responses so far. I thought perhaps I should mention what I do in regards to newsletters. 1. Do you send out a newsletter? Yes 2. How often do you send it out? Monthly 3. Where do you get your content? I write it myself. However, beginning in August I hope to have contributors write articles. I've requested an article from a Financial Services provider I know and she's pondering if she'll be able to do it for me this month. I had a client request an article on tax deductions; so that's what this Financial Services provider will be writing about. 4. How many subscribers do you have? 14. I just started in in January so I don't have many people yet. But I get at least one new person each month it seems. 5. What email campaign program do you use to send out your newsletter?
