I've been using Mad Mimi for my newsletters lately, after it was introduced to me by one of my clients. It's fun and simple to use, and if you decided to upgrade to a pay account, it starts at only $8 per month.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been researching which Newsletter program to use and free is always a top hitter. Thanks

Hi April,

Mad Mimi came up twice for me today...once on a blog on Activerain which I responded to and now you mentioned this here...so I checked it out.

I have some questions into Mimi's support team.

I see that they don't have phone support so I wanted to confirm that. From what I can tell it is a live chat between 9am to 6 pm, which could be limiting. Not sure.

I went through the tutorials and they look pretty simple and I DO like that they don't charge for image storage.

It is less expensive than both Constant Contact and Aweber and seems to have some of the same features. I'm also checking on the Twitter connection...to see if it has one.

Anyway, I'll post back when I get some more answers.

I love to try out new autoresponder programs! Thank you for posting this!

Janine

I too use Mailchimp. It does have an awesome free account and the upgrades are reasonable. I have also noticed that they are always adding new add-ins. They have a SM app that allows you to broadcast your piece and track how many RT and such. I believe they recently integrated a PayPal piece to add buttons to your mailings and something with GoToWebinar for this virtual events people.
