Default Welcome Packet Contents
Hello all,

Can you please tell me the TOP 5 items you include in a PC Welcome Packet? I never supplied new PC's with a welcome packet. However, I am looking for new marketing strategies and I've heard welcome packets can be quite useful.

Thanks in advance.

One thing that I have used with quite a bit of success is including referral cards. Printed on regular business card format, it allows and motivates the client to hand out your information to other interested parties. You can include a spot where you write your clients name as the 'referrer' and offer them a discount on their next invoice for each new referral.

I include my bio, general procedures (hours, emergencies, payment, etc), a list of my services and a client intake form.

I send the same as Lee along with a list of 100 things a VA can do in an hour and a 1099. But really the concentration in my welcome packet are my business policies, hours, deposit required, expectations and reiteration of the need to communicate.

I do not include an invoice in the welcome packet because it is something I send before I sign with the client.

In my welcome pack I have a copy of the contract, Welcome letter (thanking them for choosing me), Who we are letter (which outlines polices, office hours and other general stuff), information I need sheet and a "Ways you can help me" sheet which gives little tips on how they can better organize their papers.
