Great idea of a welcome package. Will go with a pdf package as well. Any ideas of what forms to include besides the main forms.. i.e. contract

I have a printed welcome package that I take with me on consults. I find that people generally want to see something, it makes it more "real" for them. I include my general Administrative Consultant brochure or the specialized Real Estate version if I'm meeting with agents, brief detail on company policies, testimonials, a draft contract and my business card. I also take a client information form for me to make brief notes as we go along.

I tell the client that I will forward a personalized quote by email after assessing their situation along with the PDF version of the welcome package (I leave them a business card at the meeting). If they accept the quote, I arrange to meet them again to sign the contract in order to begin work and payment is due upfront.
