Default New Client "Welcome Package"
I hope I'm posting this in the right forum here , I'd love to hear what you include in your New Client Welcome Package. I need to put one together and am not sure what I should include in it. Thanks in advance for any advise you have to offer!

Cheers,
~Mj (AkA Virtual Roadie)

When I visit clients I normally prepare a small file to include my business profile, a draft copy of my retainer contract and a copy of my data protection and privacy policy contract with my business card of course.

Beforehand I try to research the client's company if possible and if they have called me about a specific project, I take some ideas along with me so they can see I am prepared to invest time in their company even before there is an agreement in place. Once we've met, I send them an e-postcard thanking them for meeting with me and to briefly recap the main points discussed (if necessary) which I'm told is pretty well received. I don't include too much info in my package as most people won't read it but what I do try to do is make sure everything follows the same format (colours, style and branding). Hope that helps you a little.

Thanks Patty! If you do, I hope it works out for you. Happy Sunday all (well it's 1:30am on Sunday now where I am so I should try to get some shut eye!)

I don't have a welcome pack, I use DocuSign to send people my Terms of Business which they have to read and sign before I start work. Saves any confusion over payment terms etc.

But, in saying that, I only deal with transcription so it may be different if you offer a wider variety of services.
