Default Email for Marketing VA
Hi -

So my background is marketing, fundraising and event planning. Do any of you do that type of work and, if so, what do you do when your client wants to set up an email address for you to lend credibility to your pitches? I'm having an issue keeping track of which email to respond from (a hangover from my previous JOB life, I'm sure, when I had only one email address to keep track of).

Thanks!

I don't do the type of work you describe, but I do virtual accounting for several coaches and consultants who refer to me as their "Controller" or "Financial Manager." When I'm sending invoices or making collections inquiries, I use the email address assigned to me by the client.

You can setup Outlook for multiple emails. I have five emails coming/going from my Outlook and each one has a unique signature associated with it. You can also setup the Rules in Outlook so that email from a particular email account goes into that client's folder in Outlook automatically ... so you can keep them straight!

I agree Deb. I have three businesses and I have a couple of clients that I send emails for. I also have 5 emails setup up in Outlook and it works great!
