Default Nametags
I went to a Chamber Event the other day and I saw that a few people had nameplated/nametages.. not the handwritten "hi my name is" tag.. I thought, "wow they must network ALOT". Does anyone else have a branded nametag?

What did the branded name tag look like? Did it have a Chamber logo?

No, they weren't necessarily members of the Chamber. Actually there was a secretarial service and the young lady had on a branded tag.

I wore my nametag for my current job today for an event, and I was just thinking I should get one once CAS by Mari, LLC is up and running. Even if one doesn't network *a lot*, it look very professional and businesses are viewed as "established", I think.

My husband and I just recently got name tags since we network a lot. There's a great place where you can buy just one tag for $12.95 plus shipping. They are fast and very customer-centric. Check out create-a-badge.com. I just ordered one for a client also. It's great because there is not minimum quantity. Let me know if any of you try it. We liked the quality. Oh, it's magnetic so you don't have to worry about poking holes in your clothing.

What a great idea, as I am starting to go to different networking events and only one provides name tags this would be ideal.

Sue, quick question, how strong are the magnets, would they work through jackets or just jumpers and blouses?
