Default Multi-Chamber Luncheon, attire and what to expect
Hello everyone!

Has anyone ever attended a multi-chamber progressive luncheon? I remember attending something similar in the early stages as an admin and just want to make sure I wear the appropriate attire. I plan to wear either a white pant suit or a black suit (Jacket and skirt). Also, I will be taking some business cards as I don't yet have an intro letter. The invite suggest to bring business cards and a 60-second introduction. Of course I am nervous, but maybe because I don't know what to expect. I have attended expos and such as well, as an employee, but now I have to represent ME. Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
sy (Sheila)

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to share my experience at the chamber luncheon. It was well worth it. I was not sure what to expect but it turned out very well. Received a lot of business cards and some very informative conversations. I decided to wear a very nice top and skirt (yet professional) and found that I would have been hot in my black suit. I was already sweating as I had to be confident when giving my 60 second intro three or more times. Someone was actually interested and wanted to speak with me after the event. I was speaking with one other attendee and missed the other. I do have the business cards and will follow-up. One down and many more to go.

Congratulations on the successful event! The worst is always the first. Glad you found it to be a triumph.

Thank you so much! I hope not to be as nervous at the next event.
