I currently can't afford to get my Business License, but I was wondering if it was a good idea to still attend network conventions, meet and greets? I just want to be educated. Diane

Diane, I think it's a good time to be out their meeting new people and making new contacts. You can never have too many. You will learn something from all of them. It's always a good idea to be building your database. Networking events are also for your benefit of having contacts to refer others. Mary

I agree with Mary. My advice to new VAs is to treat your business as if you're already in business, regardless of what phase you're in.
