Default Giving a group presentation
A Co-working group contacted me asking if I would like to do a "How to use a Virtual Assistant" group talk over lunch. Co-working is when a group of people pay a small fee to use a space in building, versus having to buy/lease an office space for much more. So I think it's a perfect place for people to use a VA who don't have space for an assistant.

I was wondering how I should go about this presentation.
I was thinking of maybe making a powerpoint, handing out some forms and sheets, and also having some forms available for people to fill out saying what services they would need and set appointments if they wanted to use my services.

Congratulations Stepfanie;

What a great opportunity for you! I think you are on the right track with your ideas.

The form is good but I would make sure you have your website info so they can contact you online also -- make it very obvious that you are virtual and very tech savvy.

Good luck with this and let us know how it goes.

I think you are definitely on the right track with this! I would include the home page of your website as the last slide (and leave it up on the screen following the presentation). As Cindy said, be sure your website and contact information are on a form for their followup.

Stepfanie - What a fabulous opportunity! I'm wondering how it was that they got in touch with you in the first place. Did you approach them?

What an awesome opportunity! I would do a little research ahead of time to see what types of businesses are in the co-working group. That way you can have examples ready of how those businesses in particular could benefit from partnering with a VA.

Stepfanie (love the spelling by the way),

Can you fill us in on how your presentation went? Any tips or ideas of what you would do differently? I will be doing quite a few presentations in 2 weeks and would definitely love to hear how yours went.

Thank You!

Stepfanie,

Wow!!! This is a wonderful opportunity and your plan seems to be right on target. Again, it's most important to keep your website and contact info in their face. I'm sure it will go well, and please let us know how you made out.
