I bought VAF welcome packets guide and it mentioned giving out the packets at networking meetings. What do you think? Too much info at once? Waste of money for printing?

I'm planning on giving out informational packets at networking meetings but not really a welcome packet per say... I would think to make a short informational packet with information that's vital such as a summary letter/company profile, full list of services, (possibly) price or packages list.... If a client signs on with you I'd send/give a welcome packet. My welcome packet is digital for new clients.

I'm not sure. We may but those cost money and we can't afford it. I did order some wallet sized calendars to give out along with our business card on our next networking meeting. They were free and have our business name and website on them. They cost $7.31 for delivery.

I've made up some brochures using publisher that showcases what I do, what a virtual assistant is, testimonials from clients. It has all my info on how to get in touch with me. My staples is having a sale of colored copies for 29 cents so I am going to make a few to hand out.

I've heard that brochures with an informative article on them or something that highlights your expertise works really well. I imagine using a business card in this manner would work also. You might want to save the packet for sending out to those you received business cards from or made contact with so you can personalize it alittle more.

I am so glad someone posted this question because I was wondering what to give out at networking meetings as well. I had considered a trifold brochure or a bifolod 5 x 7 card highlighting my services. Thanks for the information Kristin and Moiraesfate.
