Since relevant video shows up at the top of a search result (in most cases) this seems like an important piece of information to leverage.

How do you get your videos to show up on Universal results pages?
Google picks up videos from Google video search – therefore, to have your videos show up in Universal search, they must be indexed in Google video search.
