Default Using Audio and Video to Engage Your Community - Redhead VA's Biz Bits
...Even if text is your main mode of communication, using other media forms to engage your audience is a powerful blogging strategy. Here’s why: The more senses you involve when you communicate with your audience, the more brain cells – literally! – they will dedicate to you. And more connections means higher levels of involvement and trust.

Great tips Renee! As someone who would sometimes much rather turn the microphone on and record a blog post, I found myself nodding my head and agreeing with you while I read your post.

Not every audio or video project needs to be a huge production or a podcast even. Using audio and video in the manner you suggested is a great idea. Another way to use video on a blog or website: use it as a free offer to get people to sign up to your list. Instead of a free written report, make a free audio or video report available for download.

Obviously you captured my attention with your post. Thank you for sharing

I've noticed more and more blog posts and even newsletters offering the option to 'listen' rather than read. It's a nice option to have because I can listen in to a newsletter or long blog post/article while I browse other content or get something else done.
