If so, or if you've found one that you think is particularly good, please post it up here.

Here are a few videos I found on YouTube, created by VAs (some by our own members

) for the purpose of marketing their biz.

I hadn't seen some of those videos before and have searched Youtube far and wide for some (not far and wide enough, I suppose). Thank you for sharing them.

I made a video last year for my business and as with most things I do...I tried to go a little bit left of the middle of the videos I did see find. I took a different approach.

Here it is:

I believe I am due to make another one. In fact, I proposed making some videos to the Audio/Video group on this forum. How much fun would that be?

Tess -- do you have a video? Are you planning on making one? Just curious

I can't wait to see what others videos show up here.

Ha, when I saw the title of this thread, I thought to myself, I don't have a video that I use for marketing....that is, until I saw that you posted the one I had made (and obviously forgotten about.)

It used to have music, but I guess I didn't choose royalty free music and YouTube stripped my video of music and I just haven't bothered to update it. Also, as you can see, I made it before I moved into specializing in Social Media. I guess I also need to do an updated version.

Thanks for posting these Tess, Darlene and Rebecca. They are good reminders that video can be a very effective marketing tool.

Cool! Thanks for these. I'm with Darlene on the Audio/Video group here, and working hard to get up to speed. Playing with video editing, omigosh. These samples are GREAT! Love the various personalities shown. And they really communicate!
Darlene's assigned us the challenge of making an audio recording for our professional sites, so video's a few steps away at the moment. But boy, it's all fun!
And, with Darlene, I want to know if you have a video, Tess?!

Wow! What talent and innovative ideas you ladies have. Yes, you can definitely see the different personalities and thought process in each video.

I'm a "wow" too. I have wanted to do a video, but I thought it had to be me blabbering in front of the camera. These are so fun and interesting. I hadn't thought to make it like a commercial. I am definitely going to make a video! Thanks for the inspiration!!
