Default Multi Virtual Assistant Practice Contracts
Hi All

I have a question about multi va practice partnerships. When a VA bids on a project with a VA team & then gets the bid; after signing their contract what about the VA's own contract?

Is it protocol to then ask the VA team owner to sign your own company contract like you would a regular client. Or is this something not normally done?

TIA for all comments

Jo-Carole

I am presuming that the VA Practice Partnership there is an agreement between you and this group already existing. If not, there should be an agreement. The VA Practice Partnership that went after the bid and received it, would sign the agreement with the client.

Think of it as you are subcontracting. The terms between the client and the VA Practice Partnership should correlate to the terms that you have with the VA Practice Partnership. When this happens, everyone is obligated to the original contract terms and there won't be conflicts on the terms.

I have a question about this. Is a new start up partnership with 2 people the same as a multi VA practice? My business partner and I are working together, and will both sign the partnership contract included in the free start up forms. Is there a need for us to bid for each client's jobs or divide the work automatically between the two of us based on the requests? What I mean by this statement is that we specialize in administrative and light bookkeeping services, and I primarily will do admin duties, and she will primarily do bookkeeping services. Therefore, if a client wants a spreadsheet created, either of us have the ability to do it, but should I do it since that is my specialty area. Or should we bid for it? I hope my question is not too confusing...

Thank you in advance!
