I have now rented an office, so my VAs do not work from home. As I write this, I have 4 VAs working on various marketing, social media and DBA tasks for my clients. I love it -- my main job now is to oversee everything and handle client relations issues. That, and sell, sell, sell!

I am having a slow go at expanding my business and have been working majority with personal friends who own small businesses. Is there anyone out there who has any information or knowledge of a VA looking to subcontract? Any input would be great! Thanks!

I am just getting my business off the ground and having 32 years experience working as a legal secretary in the UK I wish to specalise in this area. My start up has been slow because I am on a very limited budget and need to do things as and when I can afford it. I would be very interested in networking with other VAs as I wish to offer web design and book-keeping amongst my services but do not really have enough experience in these areas (although I do have a good basic knowledge of book keeping and am studying this more at the moment). I will probably start off with mainly transcription and word processing work. When my business is up and running I will be able to look forward to networking with other VAs especially those in the UK. Sandra
