Hi everyone!

I am looking for as much information as possible before I venture into the VA market. All advice welcome, but I will of course read archive posts because I am sure you are all very busy gals and guys (hopefully).

I am currently working from my home/office. I do enjoy it but it can be frustrating sometimes, putting in all the work only for the job not to come to fruition. I manage an entertainment business. Clients come to me for suitable entertainment, I offer a proposal and quotation and if it is accepted, I then draw up the contracts, conditions, etc. It isn't glamorous, I assure you.

I have some spare time and would like to use my skills to become a VA.

Thank you for your welcome and advice; very much appreciated at such an early stage in my VA career. As well as my own business in the entertainment world, I also assist my husband with his secretarial work and typically, he calls with an email for me to type and send for him or I have to proof read his documents. I think I should start charging him and make him my first client. I wonder what he will say to that.
