Sorry I've been MIA. We'd been trying to get our VA business off the ground since I lost my job (long story, I got screwed, ask me someday), and hubby had lost his 2 months before. We had to move back to TN where my nursing license is valid (Ohio is not a compact state, costs WAY too much to transfer), so that I could get a job. Hubby is looking for one now. We'd been homeless for about 3 weeks, finally found a place, got internet set up (Slow, but it's there). Now we're ready to try to get back on track with our business. No clients as of yet, but hubby's revamping our website (check it out www.mksdesignss.com any tips/ideas are welcome), and I'm going to redo the sample site tomorrow. We're glad to be back home with friends and family and now we're ready to take off to the next level.

I was just reviewing your web site. I love the way you show your services in the top right corner, Very catchy.

I did notice a few errors though, On first page, there is no period after ....unit members Our #1 Pledge. Also you have used we or us and then in the last line you say fax to me.

On the Portfolio page there was quite a few errors, I would proofread again.

It is so great to be able to create like that.

Oh my goodness! You and hubby have been through so much. Glad you are back and able to get going on your VA business.

My observations regarding your site:

On the Home page: "Your life is... If your spending..." 'your' should be 'you're', as in 'you are.' You might think about breaking up the long paragraphs in the bottom part of the page. Or use bullet points perhaps.

On some pages the paragraphs are not separated as they should be - the text of the next paragraph butts up against the previous paragraph.

Overall I like your design. I would suggest that you run it through the W3C Validator, because there are quite a few errors on the site. Also check into how to make Flash error free so it validates. This will help with SEO, too.

For SEO it is recommended that one doesn't use tables for presentation/layout - you should use X/HTML and CSS. Here's an article about this.

Welcome back to the forum. I quickly looked at your site and had trouble opening your Newsletter Example 1. It may have be my computer, however Example 2 opened just fine. Overall it was really nice though.
