My name is Jessica and I am just starting to build my VA business. Since having my first child a year ago, I have been a work-at-home mom. In addition to setting myself up as a VA, I am a Realtor and I work as an at-home call center agent. I bring a decade of administrative experience to my VA venture and after much research and preparation I'm finally ready to launch my business.
I was happy to discover these forums and have been reading a lot of different posts. Thank you to all of you experienced VA's who are so helpful to those of us who are new to the industry. Your wisdom and advice are indispensible. I also love the fact that we can all, both experienced and new, collaborate and share ideas, inspiration and advice with one another. I look forward to spending time with everyone in the forums.

Wow! You certainly stay busy. I am expecting my first child in April and will likely be turning to people like you who have experience juggling the challenges of raising newborns while working from home. I am a new VA and hope to be able to quit my full-time job and be a full-time WAHM by the time my daughter is born.
The forums are definitely a great resource for VAs, and the members are amazingly friendly and supportive. Welcome to the group!
