We are new to the VA world. My husband and I decided to start a VA business and we are in the initial phases of startup. Obviously, we have a long way to go to get our first client. I have worked in early childhood education for the past 10 yrs until we had our son Nicholas, who is now 2 yrs old. Prior to that, I was a secretary for a small company in Banbury, England. Since we are firm believers in raising our own children, what’s better to returning to the work force than a home business? My husband is the technical guru of our startup—I’ll let him handle most of the IT Support and web administration while I handle all of the VA duties. We are looking forward to our new line of business in the VA profession--we feel like we have a lot to offer.

Welcome Alison and Dennis, how lovely that you can work together! My husband and I met in the corporate world - I was his secretary, so we both have a good understanding of how each other operates, although we don't work together these days. But he does take a keen interest in my business and tells many people about it, and gives out my business cards.
